OPEN CALL 2024

We are thrilled to receive submissions from artists exploring 2D mediums, including painting, drawing, and textiles (no photography). The gallery's chosen artists will be showcased at the Saltaire Art Gallery from the 10th of May until the 25th of August 2024 and in future exhibitions, marking the beginning of a potential long-term partnership.

The exhibition will enjoy extensive social media coverage and feature in our weekly newsletter for subscribers.

  1. Purchase open call entry through our website.

  2. Submit images and biography via email – details will be sent to applicants upon purchase.

Who Can Apply?

Artists working in any 2D medium, including paintings, textiles, and drawings, are welcome. We encourage artists with a substantial body of consistent work. Successful applicants will be notified by the 22nd of April.

Your Submission:

All relevant information will be included in an Applicant Pack sent to all applicants, detailing the submission process. We request high-quality images of up to 5 artworks in JPEG or PDF format and a brief biography/artist's statement.

More Information:

Successful artists will be required to send chosen works to the gallery between the 25th and 28th of April. The artwork must be ready to hang with d-hooks attached to the top. Artists are responsible for their own insurance. Copyright remains with the artist, but entrants consent to their work appearing on our website and social media. All submitted work must be original, and AI-generated work will not be accepted. Artworks should weigh below 4kg and can be up to 180 cm at their widest point. The entry fee is non-refundable. Details of the gallery's terms and conditions will be shared with successful applicants before the exhibition.
