Inspired by the energetic spectacle of petal-fall from mature azaleas around the lake of a beautiful garden - Bodnant - in full sunshine. This fleeting spectacle completely transformed a peaceful area with intense colour which seemed to glow, lifted the spirits and left a lasting, positive impression as well as a sense of wonder. A canvas rich in colour and texture up-close, which explores the idea of little moments of magic transforming the everyday.
